Gabriel Jiménez
Gabriel Jiménez is the founder and managing lawyer in the Gabriel Jiménez Law Office. Mr. Jiménez has been a lawyer since 1996 and has over 15 years of legal experience. In that time, Mr. Jiménez has become a highly experienced and accomplished attorney specializing in immigration law, criminal deportation cases, residency visas and waivers of inadmissibility.
Prior to focusing his practice exclusively in the area of immigration law, Mr. Jiménez obtained extensive experience in civil litigation and administrative law. In these various capacities, Mr. Jiménez successfully handled cases for such entities as General Motors, Ford Motor Company, the Los Angeles Unified School District and the City of Los Angeles. This broad range of experiences in the civil litigation arenas has made Mr. Jiménez an accomplished advocate for his clients in immigration cases.
Gabriel Jiménez was born in El Paso, Texas and grew up in border community of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. Mr. Jiménez graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with Highest Honors in 1993 (B.A. – English and American Literature). He thereafter attended law school at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law, where he participated in special appellate advocacy clinics under a former California Supreme Court Justice. In addition, Mr. Jiménez received trial advocacy training in an internship with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
Having been born in a border community and having been educated in Los Angeles, California provides Mr. Jiménez a unique perspective regarding the issues and immigration problems facing the immigrant communities. This perspective has allowed Mr. Jiménez to obtain succesful outcomes for his clients.
